Lee Chay Pin, Victor

Senior Partner

Bachelor of Laws, L.L.B (Hons) 

Mr Lee Chay Pin, Victor (“Mr Victor Lee”) graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1980 with Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Honours). He was called to the Singapore Bar in year 1981 and has since been in active practice.

 

Mr Victor Lee established the Law Practice, M/s Victor Lee & Co in 1984 and founded Chambers Law LLP in 2007 as the Senior Partner. His areas of practice include alternative dispute resolution, building and construction law, bankruptcy and insolvency law, civil and commercial litigation, conveyancing and property law, criminal law, family law, debt recovery, insurance law, probate and administration of estates, vehicle and industrial accident claims, various areas of solicitors’ work, including drafting of commercial agreements, lasting powers of attorney, powers of attorney, tenancy agreements, wills and many other areas of work. 

 

Mr Victor Lee is a legal adviser to the Singapore Lee Clan General Association. He also plays an active role in public social service, especially through a local chapter of the Lions movement, one of the largest social service organisation in the world. He served as the Chairman of Constitution and Bye-Laws in the Lion District and other Lions entities, including the Lions Home for the Elders and Lions Befrienders Service Association (Singapore).

 

Mr Victor Lee joined as a member of the Disciplinary Panel of the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA) in 2012 and is actively involved in the hearing brought before the Disciplinary Committee.

 

Mr Victor Lee is a Notary Public and a Commissioner for Oaths. He is proficient in English and Chinese. He is also fluent in Hokkien and Teochew and understands Malay and Cantonese.

Lew Chen Chen

Ms Lew Chen Chen graduated in 1994 with Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Law and Accounting. She was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales and completed the Bar Examination in 1996. She is a member of Lincoln's Inn, United Kingdom. In 1998, Ms Lew obtained the Master of Laws in the University of Bristol, UK. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1999 and started her legal practice since. Ms Lew is an Accredited Mediator with Singapore International Mediation Institute and a member of the Society of Construction Law.

 

Ms Lew formed M/s CCLew & Associates in year 2003. In year 2007, Ms Lew founded Chambers Law LLP with Mr Victor Lee and has been taking the role of the Managing Partner for M/s Chambers Law LLP.

 

Ms Lew specialises in civil and criminal litigations, including building and construction law, adjudications under the Security of Payment Act, company matters, land law, family and matrimonial law, probate and wills, personal injury and motor accident matters, commercial disputes, corporate law, alternative dispute resolution, mediation, including solicitor’s works for drafting of wills, deeds, agreements and other areas of work.

Ms Lew is active in social and community works. Since year 1999, Ms Lew was appointed as the legal advisor of Geylang Villagers Association. In year 2009, Ms Lew became the legal advisor for Singapore Hong Sheng Koon Koontow and Lion Dance Society. She was the legal advisor for Singapore Vehicle Traders Association from June 2009 to June 2017.

Ms Lew is proficient in English, Mandarin, Hokkien, Teochew and Cantonese.
